5 kilos of cannabis extract on board their car.

The Gendarmerie Royale (rural police) on Thursday seized, aboard a truck, 5 tons of processed cannabis, destined for making cannabis resin, locally known as chira.
The dealers were identified and are currently looked for, the same source said.
Earlier this week, Moroccan customs in the north city of Tangier arrested a Spanish national with around half a metric ton of hashish that he was trying to smuggle to Europe.
They also arrested three Portuguese nationals with 5 kilos of cannabis extract on board their car.
Customs and security services of the port of Tangier have lately stepped up crackdown operations on drug smugglers. They are currently using a mobile scanner, which enabled them, in 2006, to seize some 28.6MT of drugs in 196 operations and arrest 250 people
