27-year-old man from Spain has been arrested on suspicion of supplying a class C drug

Paramedics were called to the home in the Bitterne Park area of Southampton, but he was declared dead at the scene.Friends called 999 when they began to fear for his life on March 9 shortly after 3pm.They immediately called the police. CID officers have so far been unable to identify how he died.The man's family have been contacted, and he has been named as Lewis Bernard Chatterton, of Hornet Close, Fareham.Police are investigating the death of a 21-year-old man from Fareham.He is believed to have been visiting friends at the property in Hillside Avenue at the time.Three men, who were also believed to have been at the home at the time, have been arrested in connection with the incident.
A 27-year-old man from Spain has been arrested on suspicion of supplying a class C drug, and bailed until May 7.A 44-year-old man from Fareham has been arrested concerning supply of a class C drug and released on bail until May 9, and a 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis resin, and bailed until May 9.
Southampton OCU police spokeswoman Terri Clarke said: 'A post-mortem examination has been carried out, but the results have proved to be inconclusive.'Blood samples have been sent to toxicology to try and establish the cause of death.'An inquest is due to be opened in Southampton shortly.
