Jorge Gonzalez, 39, and Sarah Magdalena Altamirano, 40, were followed Wednesday night from their home in the 1000 block of West 223rd Street, which was under surveillance.
Agents pulled over the pickup truck they were riding in and found a suitcase containing 39 cellophane-wrapped, 1-pound packages of brown powder heroin.Investigators then searched their residence and found approximately 46 pounds of black tar heroin, 38 pounds of ice methamphetamine, 2 pounds of cocaine and more than $33,000 in cash, according to prosecutors.The two were arrested and are being held on $1 million bail each.
