Gastonia man who was arrested in February for cocaine possession faces new charges he sold and manufactured the drug, according to arrest warrants.
Charles Edwards Jr, 49, of 810 E. Harrison St. allegedly sold and delivered cocaine to a confidential Gaston County Police Department informant on Jan. 13.
He was arrested on Friday and booked at 11:19 a.m. at the Gaston County Jail, according to arrest records.
He had 1.36 grams of cocaine in his possession and used his home on East Harrison Street to keep and sell crack cocaine, according to the warrant.
Edwards faces six felony charges involving cocaine including selling, manufacturing, delivering and possession with intent to sell and deliver.
He was held on a $50,000 secured bond.
Edwards was arrested on February 15 for cocaine possession, arrest records state.
