Rashid Irwin Gibson, 33, was sentenced Friday in federal court to 10 years in prison for cocaine trafficking.
He pleaded guilty to the charge Jan. 11, according to a news release.
Gibson, of Virginia Beach, was arrested in possession of packaging material and over four kilograms of cocaine, according to court documents.
The drugs were found in a secret compartment in his vehicle, his kitchen and a garbage bin.
Gibson admitted to receiving and distributing an additional 10 kilograms of cocaine from late 2009 to October 2010 in Virginia Beach.
