Man charged after police find drugs, guns while responding to alarm at home: ". Kerry Anton Bettis, 27, of 6055 Camden Forest Drive, was charged with trafficking marijuana, possession of weapon during the commission of a crime and Violation of Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act, according to the Clayton County Police Department.
Officers arrived at Mr. Bettis' home about 1:30 a.m. to find that someone had tried to break into the home through the front door, police spokeswoman Ms. Tina Daniel said in a press release.
While searching for the suspect or the homeowner, police found small bags of marijuana and a scale on a kitchen table, Ms. Daniel said. Officers also found a bin with a large trash bag filled with marijuana in the bathtub of one of the bathrooms, she said."
